Hollister defeated Downtown College Prep 110-6 Wednesday night in the Overfelt High boys basketball tournament. .

``It could have been 200 points,'' Hollister Coach David Kaplansky said. ``I've never seen anything like it. And I'm not proud of it.''

Hollister led 33-4 after one quarter and 64-4 at halftime.

Kaplansky said he played a 2-3 zone defense and that his team was trying to hold back in the second half. Still, the Haybalers outscored College Prep 46-2 after halftime.

``We couldn't help it,'' he said. ``They were throwing the ball to us and it was a layup contest.''

Downtown College Prep is playing its first year of basketball, Kaplansky said. It is a rigorous educational setting for about 400 students, according to the school's Web site. School officials couldn't be reached Wednesday night.

Kaplansky was sheepish in victory.

``It's not something you want to be a part of,'' he said.
